In a small town called Emmertal, 10 mins from Hameln is our training pool which we get the use of every Wednesday evening.  It is an excellent facility giving us up to nearly 4m of clean, warm water to train in.

It also has a shallow end which can be made deeper or shallower at the touch of a button.  This helps us when we try and play Octopush.  This is a game we have only recently got into as a club, but there a few members who have played before.  I could tell which ones they were by the fact that they took gloves as part of their kit.  Very good idea.  The first game was quite short and viscious.  There was plenty of cheating going on with the squid being hidden under fins and the Gulley being moved.

Our Octopush games are not at all professional as we do not have the proper size pool, gulleys or squid but it is enjoyable and very tiring.
