Training -  This is an ongoing task which we fit in, as and when we can, or when it is required.  The training up to our trip to Gozo was very successful as there were only a couple of divers who required their final dives.  This was very good for them as they could complete their course in 30 metres of visibility! Once they had a few dives in their log books, they moved on to Sports Diver qualifications.  All those who started it finished and qualified as Sports Divers including their depth experience.  One member also started the dives towards his Dive Leader qualification.

Hemmoor - We are still looking at doing an Anglo-German event but due to other commitments, no-one will be around to do it for a while, so it will be put off.  We are looking at mixing a social event, with a diving event and with an Anglo-German event.  This will be something like a meet up and introductions in the morning followed by a days diving and talking with some of the members from each club with a finale of a huge Bar-B-Que in the evening, complimented by some beverages.  Hopefully, Olly and Mark can provide some dive gear for the kit monsters among us to try out and we will also get some more training done.  The dates for this will be decided very soon and published as soon as this damn computer will let me!

Gozo -  We have just returned from this trip and you can read and see more about it when the title to this paragraph becomes a link.  Lets just say it was amazing!!

General - Things that have happened recently are pretty few and far between really.  This has been a very quiet time for us all what with people going on holidays and generally being busy.  Unfortunately we have had to say goodbye to Ben and Mandy, and we did this with a meal out.  Eddie, our Diving Officer, is at this moment in time on his Advanced Instructor Course, so hopefully he'll be able to put his skills to use and pass...all the best Eddie.
